Associate Managing Consultant, Services Business Development

Overview:

The Services Business Development team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this team is responsible for solutioning end-to-end engagements for a diverse customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include cyber and security solutions, payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

Role:

You will be responsible for driving diverse revenue assurance and operations projects within our Security Solutions products, to help the North America Services Business Development team achieve aggressive revenue goals with YOY growth expectations in the mid-20s. The role focuses on increasing efficiencies across and effectiveness of the team by:

•Driving revenue recognition and acceleration across our Security Solutions products for all client verticals (i.e. Financial Institutions, Merchants, Digital Partners, and Canada)

•Developing and leveraging monthly financial reports (e.g. via Salesforce and Tableau) to track and improve business performance vs. forecasts

•Performing value added, ad-hoc analysis to support business improvement decisions

•Fostering close connections with our Specialist Sales teams to better understand the revenue operations infrastructure of our Security Solutions products and simplify the go-forward process

•Streamlining best practices and owning knowledge management for revenue recognition across the full North America Services Business Development team

•Collaborating with and influencing internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Insights & Enablement, Marketing, Legal, etc.) to drive the business forward

All About You:

•4+ years of work experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, analytical role; previous Finance, Consulting, Business/Revenue Operations, and/or Business Development experience a plus

•Self-starter with ability to independently own and solve ambiguous/open-ended business challenges

•Mindset to improve systems and processes and drive automation where applicable

•A detail-oriented, team player with a “Make it happen” attitude, passion for creative and innovative problem solving, and willingness to challenge the status quo

•Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

•SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, and/or accounting/FP&A/GAAP experience are a plus

Purchase and Boston: $113,000-$175,000

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
