We have an opportunity available for an EDI Programmer to work within our Information Technology Team. The EDI Programmer will work on key ERP applications in both a Unidata/Unibasic environment running on Linux and a Windows based C#.Net environment. The candidate will consult with senior programming staff on various projects within the organization as well as with Key members of various departments for which software is being developed. A key focus of this position is also EDI implementation. Applications also interface with our SQL Data Warehouse.
What you will do:
- Implement EDI solutions for customers and vendors
- Participate in the identification and development of program and system specifications as well as the ability to work from specifications developed by others.
- Partner with Development teams to design flexible, scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Consult with Key members from various departments to help design solutions to fit their current needs.
- Code, UAT and deployment of complex solutions. Develop complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
- Respond, analyze and formulate solutions to problems to avoid interruption of service to users.
- Ownership of projects and responsibility for deliverables.

What we need:
- Bachelors degree or 4+ years experience in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 1+ year experience developing and maintaining enterprise quality applications
- Experience developing Unibasic applications
- Experience with IBM Direct Connect is highly desirable
- Experience developing C#.Net applications is a plus
- Experience with Visual Studio 2010 or higher is desirable
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database helpful
- Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
- Ability to work in conjunction with a team as well as independently, with the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
- Knowledge of the use of source control systems such as GIT is a plus.
