Position Summary

The Informatics Manager will be an individual contributor position. You will be responsible for supporting data inquiry requests from various state agencies in partnership with our Business Analytics Team. Contributions would be in direct support of State Cost Growth Benchmarking initiatives and will supply claim details related to state specific requests. Strong understanding of Medical Claims and query methodology is essential.

In this position you will build complex queries against Aetna Claim EDW related to state specific requests. You will also be responsible new reporting requests and aligning external terminology with data elements that might not be a one for one match. Timely and accurate data queries is essential.

Fundamental Components:

• Creates complex queries, does technical report/programming.

• Creates Automations and reusable queries and data enrichment via Alteryx.

• Ensure data quality, consistency and conducts data audits.

* Position is Hybrid w/ in an office requirement on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday*

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Alteryx skills

• MS SQL Server (Familiarity with databases and comfortable generating reports)

• Data / Query / ETL skills

• Strong communication skills

• Proven track record in meeting deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments

• 5 -7 years of data interpretation and analysis experience

• Ability to work a hybrid work schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office).

Preferred Qualifications

• Tableau

• Experience with Medical Claim, diagnosis, claim lifecycle and managed Medical plans

• Experience with health insurance data and operations

EducationCollege degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
