Description

We are in search of an Oracle Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Hartford County, Connecticut. As an Oracle Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding computer systems, applications, and interfaces, while also demonstrating proficiency in data gathering techniques. You will work towards devising, designing, and communicating systems solutions to client issues and problems of medium complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your analytical skills to define systems information requirements and objectives for system application and interface maintenance or application enhancement requests and communicate to clients and programmers.

• Identify conversion needs in existing applications and draft project scope plans, project plans, and issue logs.

• Act as a liaison to the system users and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements, data flows, and process flows.

• Utilize your specialized knowledge in Oracle and other ERP systems to provide technical expertise and work towards improving the effective utilization of the application.

• Prepare written documentation of the need for application changes or replacements, and coordinate staff and manage project plans for their implementation.

• Participate in, develop, implement, document, and validate comprehensive test plans complying with current standards, designed to produce successful and failed outcomes.

• Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of technology resources that process, transmit, or store information.

• Participate in the system selection process, including needs assessment, RFP, and vendor selection.

• Provide agreed levels of system administration and configuration.

• Educate analysts and programmers on business requirements, objectives, and operational needs and the relevant system applications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Fusion or similar ERP is essential.

• Experience with system integrations and configurations.

• Experience developing and validating test plans within the systems.

• Ability to draft project plans, issue logs, and troubleshoot systems.

• Experience in Agile Scrum environment and Backlog Grooming is necessary.

• Strong communication with stakeholders and other analysts.
