Position Summary

This role is within the Individual & Family Plans (IFP) Product Performance team and focuses primarily on monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the financial performance of our Individual Exchange business, which launched January 1, 2022, and experienced significant growth for plan years 2023 and 2024. This position is an analytical role that will be key in providing perspective on the current and anticipated performance of the IFP line of business to both technical and non-technical audiences. In addition to pulling and analyzing data and providing analytical support for the IFP Product Performance team, individuals in this role may need to gather and review reporting from a number of other business areas (e.g., finance and valuation, MEU, network) in order to identify any areas of interest (favorable or unfavorable) and then partner with those business areas to determine the drivers of those results.The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, collaborative, and has experience building models, analyzing detailed datasets, and clearly communicating the results of their analysis to a variety of audiences. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Actuarial experience.

  • At least two Actuarial exams passed

  • Analytical and model-building skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem-solving capabilities

  • Solid communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience or familiarity with Public Exchanges

  • SAS / SQL / comparable coding experience preferred

  • Experience pulling data warehouse data

  • Experience with validating and analyzing large data sets

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
