The Store Planner will work directly with Batteries Plus franchise owners and corporate store district managers to provide key support to the store build-out and opening processes. The Store Planner will guide franchisees and corporate store representatives with adhering to system guidelines and compliance, while also acting as a communication liaison between franchise owners and corporate staff.

Responsibilities:

Store Design

• Coordinate with franchisees, internal teams and vendors for planning new store and retrofit projects

• Support the development of layouts that promote product presentation and a consistent design for stores

• Participate in the planning and execution for build outs, retrofits, and other steps in the store design process

• Ensure brand standards are maintained throughout the process

• Maintains an accurate library of all construction drawings, finishes, and notes

• Participate in marketing and on-going review of the store programs

  Order Management

• Place orders for fixtures, inventory & equipment

• Coordinate store fixture program

• Monitor delivery of orders

  Project Administration

• Coordinate project plans, engage necessary resources, provide periodic status reports

• Maintain a schedule for all store initial setups as well as 30, 60, and 90-day check ins

• Maintain a store exceptions database to control deviations

• Assist in the distribution of monthly reports

• Proactively communicate issues and challenges

  Qualifications:

• 1 year retail/merchandising experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Business, Communications, PMP Certification or related field

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google applications, Visio, Excel proficiency

• Process oriented with good project management skills; capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios, area and measurement
