Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves machine operating on a consistent 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off schedule without rotation. One week you will work 36 hours and the following week 48 hours. The position is crucial in our wire and copper manufacturing processes, supporting electrical distribution with major clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other machinery in a heavy industrial environment.

• Perform production tasks including picking, unloading, packaging, and shipping & receiving.

• Utilize stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as pallet jacks for loading and packing.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Essential Skills

• MUST HAVE 5-10 years of forklift experience.

• High school diploma.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Good attendance record, adhering to a 3.5 point policy.

• Successful completion of a physical (POET).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a general labor role.

• Good tenure and a strong resume.

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am.
