DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain custom software applications for LTI's various laboratories and inspection departments.
  • Drive productivity through the development of software applications that optimize data flow and enable process optimization.
  • Leverage GitHub for source control and collaboration with other developers.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines for development tasks.
  • Participate in end-user testing and troubleshooting sessions.
  • Upgrade and maintain existing software by keeping packages current and refactoring code base accordingly.
  • Add new features to existing software as needed for critical business initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs as required.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to refine software requirements and create process documentation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for other IT support staff on issues that relate to custom LTI software.
  • Compile detailed documentation on all software features.
  • Document work performed and other technical information for internal stakeholders.
  • Document "How To" and knowledge base for internal use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred degrees:
    • Computer Science
    • Software Engineering
  • Required development skills:
    • Experience with .NET Framework (6.0 and above) and C#.
    • Front end web application development experience using the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
    • Experience debugging and optimizing software. 
  • Preferred skills & experience:
    • .NET web application development using Blazor or Angular frameworks.
    • Experience with a data first approach in developing .NET web applications.
    • SQL Server development experience (or equivalent RDBMS development in Oracle or MySQL).
    • Experience using a NoSQL database as a data source for a .NET web application, preferably MongoDB and the .NET MongoDB driver.
    • Experience with EntityFrameworkCore.
    • Familiarity with .NET API development, preferably REST API. 
  • Other skills required:
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are a plus.
    • Interested and capable of learning new technologies, systems, and processes. 
    • The ability to manage competing priorities to achieve maximum organizational impact.
      • The ability to work in a diverse project team towards a common goal.
    • Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

This is a hybrid role working at our location in Hatfield, PA.
