Job Summary

Educational Research Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by majors and non-majors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Educational Research adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [Two 3-hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Foundations of Research, Introductory Statistics, Survey Research, and Program Evaluation.

1. Instruction in traditional and online formats. 2. Assessment of student learning outcomes. 3. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. degree in disciplines related to Educational Psychology, Education, or other social sciences is required for teaching graduate level courses.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to apply statistical concepts and research methods

  • Experience with online learning platforms

  • Expertise with statistical software

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success in university teaching is preferred.
