Job Summary
The DuBard School seeks to hire a part-time office assistant to work approximately 14 hours per week.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for converting school records to digital format using a high-resolution scanner. Duties include scanning documents into Perceptive Content Software, properly classifying documents, and performing quality checks.
May be needed to assist in various places around the school, including but not limited to classrooms, lunchroom, front desk, recess/PE, etc.
Additional job duties may include assistance with planning and decorating for special events
Other clerical and office duties as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with supervision as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and seek input when needed
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Sensitivity to handling confidential materials
Ability to operate a computer and scanner
Ability to sort and file paperwork
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat a plus
Preferred Qualifications
W orking with Speech Language Sciences, including audiology
