THE ROLE: Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and managing cloud solutions that align with our client's business needs. You will leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures. Your role involves strategic planning, implementation, and continuous optimization to ensure the cloud infrastructure delivers impactful business outcomes.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travel, it is a fully remote position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and current IT landscape.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cloud strategies.
• Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Oversee the migration of applications and data to cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, including engineers and developers, to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and architectures.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and database management.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies and execution.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• Over all 5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms and engineering such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
