Leading manufacturer of RF technologies, including telecommunications systems, wireless communication devices, radar systems, and other RF-related equipment used in industries such as telecommunications, aerospace, defense, and consumer electronics is hiring for an RF Test Technician for their Hauppauge NY facility. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting radio frequency equipment and systems, ensuring they meet performance and regulatory standards.

  • Conducting various tests on RF equipment, such as signal generators, amplifiers, antennas, transmitters, receivers, and communication systems, to measure parameters like frequency, power, signal quality, and modulation.

  • Operating and maintaining RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and other specialized instruments for RF testing.

  • Setting up and configuring the test environment, ensuring that all test equipment is calibrated correctly, and ensuring that the test conditions replicate real-world operating scenarios.

  • Diagnosing faults in RF circuits and systems by interpreting test data and using diagnostic tools to identify problems such as signal distortion, interference, or power loss.

  • Repairing or replacing defective components, such as amplifiers, oscillators, filters, and antennas. This may include troubleshooting circuit boards, connectors, and other hardware.
