Hurt and Healing Behavioral Health and Wellness, PLLC Mental Health Apprentice in Havelock, North Carolina
Mental Health Apprentice, Havelock, NC (up to 3 months paid training)
- Currently enrolled in a Masters Program or Higher for CMHC, MFT, CSW, MHS, PSYD, etc
- Opportunities for Career Pathing upon completion of degree
- In-Office experience; no telecommuting available
- Fulltime: 3-5 days per week; flexible hours between 8am and 7pm, 36 hours/week
Duties (Can be acquired during training):
- Conduct intake interviews and assessments for new and returning clients
- Conduct screenings and assessments of emotional, behavioral, and psychological symptoms
- Complete clinical documentation and maintain an Electronic Health Record
- Participate in Individual supervision of training, experience and professional development
- Co-lead group counseling sessions
- Participate in case consultation and presentations in Bi-weekly Groups Supervision
- Develop treatment plans and assess for progress
- Consult with other therapists to support clients and locate resources/referrals
- Participate in community outreach events
Requirements (to be considered for position):
- Soft skills a must! Our priority is to provide ALL clients with a safe place to support healing
- Communication both written and verbal are essential to providing effective care
- Knowledge of at least one evidenced based theory
- Current enrollment in a Masters Degree or higher in a mental health related field.
