Overview Tecolote is a trusted independent advisor providing consulting, analytics, and digital solutions to senior leadership and Federal government executives supporting the National Security mission. As a Cost Analyst, you will be the go-to person for support of large-scale DoD acquisition programs. Responsibilities

• Go-to person for Army Program Managers in support of large-scale DoD acquisition programs.
• Conduct cost analyses and cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Independent Government Estimates, Cost Benefit Analysis, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requested.
• Assist with the development of Cost Analysis Requirement Description (CARD).
• Coordinate and defend results with and across other organizations (DASA-CE and/or OSD CAPE) and contractors.
• Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting and for financial execution and budgets.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners.

Skills Required

• Minimum three (3) years of experience.
• Must have experience developing a Life Cycle Cost estimate using Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).
• Active Secret level clearance.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense Acquisition Policies.
• Experience with generating Milestone documentation is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Expert ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
• Expert ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.

Education

• Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
