HIM Quality Analyst The HIM Quality Analyst position reports to the Director of Health Information Management. This position is responsible for overseeing that the established revenue cycle workflows of the HIM department are conducted efficiently to ensure accounts are finalized timely, assist the coding staff and backup Release of Information, process requests and support the maintenance of Abstracting Selection File Reports and provide data validation.

Salary commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Completion of high school or equivalent.

2) Able to multitask with many interruptions.

3) Written and oral communication skills.

4) Ability to comprehend, train and apply given information.

5) Ability to operate office equipment including computer and microfilm equipment.

6) Must understand the confidential nature of hospital business.

7) Knowledge of federal and state payer-specific regulations, policies, and compliance standards pertaining to documentation, coding, billing, and transaction standards. Additional Information
