Settlers Hospitality Group LLC Maintenance Supervisor in Hawley, Pennsylvania

We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. 

 

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all the installation, maintenance, and repair work at our multiple locations in Hawley. They will manage teams made up of workers who execute tasks according to their projects' requirements. They will also maintain equipment that's relevant for each site they oversee. The candidate will be working in multiple facilities doing all phases of construction. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a requirement. Some nights may be required.

 

The ideal candidate has exceptional problem-solving skills, and experience that includes knowledge of equipment and repairs. The candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and experience managing teams. He or she must have the physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), must be reliable and trustworthy, and must pay attention to detail and take pride in his or her work.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance

Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work

Recruiting, supervising and training maintenance technicians

Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies

Performs small repairs as assigned

Reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor

Performs other duties as assigned

Able to follow spoken and written instructions.

Able to work without direct supervision

Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Able to work a flexible schedule, which may includes nights, weekends, long days, and holidays.

Sets up banquet rooms as instructed by supervisor.

Manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Three years of relevant maintenance tech experience preferred

Two years of supervisory experience preferred

Able to follow spoken and written instructions

Able to problem solve, delegate, and manage multiple projects

Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Construction Experience

Driver's License and reliable transportation
