Job Summary:

Gottstein Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, precision, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing, combustion, mechanical systems, trouble shooting, and blueprint reading. Advanced hydraulics experience is strongly preferred.

Install, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that machinery and equipment are functioning optimally and safely.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent mechanical failure and extend equipment life.

Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welding equipment.

Align and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision measuring instruments and devices.

Collaborate with other maintenance and operations team members to ensure minimal disruption to production processes.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.

Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.

Skilled in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems effectively.

Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Working Conditions:

This position involves working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in potentially hazardous conditions.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
