Aston Carter Production Administrative Assistant in Hazleton, Pennsylvania
Position Overview:
We are seeking a 3rd Shift Production Clerk to directly support the scheduler/planner and assistant operations managers with clerical tasks in the administrative office. This role involves opening/closing batches, creating daily production schedules, managing inventory, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Excel, Outlook, and Sage, and will be willing to work every 3rd weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and close production batches.
Create and manage daily production schedules.
Assign lockers to employees.
Gather and report temporary hours to agencies.
Perform office inventory and order supplies, including hair/beard nets for the plant.
Greet visitors, check them in, and answer calls from the front office.
Work daily with Excel, Outlook, and Sage.
Commit to a casual dress code (jeans/sneakers acceptable).
Skills and Qualifications:
Inventory management and data entry experience.
Strong administrative support and assistance skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (sort/filter, charts/graphs).
Experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred; SAP, Oracle, JDE also acceptable).
Excellent multitasking abilities and strong attention to detail.
Experience in opening/closing production batches.
At least 1 year of office experience within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work comfortably every 3rd weekend.
