Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Team located in Heath, OH.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) whose primary role would be supporting significant increase in planned receipt of parts and material requiring receiving inspection of current programs at the Boeing Guidance Repair Center (BGRC) located in Heath, OH.

Position Responsibilities:

Associate (Level B):

  • Executes receiving inspection and acceptance activities utilizing computer-based software tools (TIPQA, MS Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Reads and interprets technical drawings, specs, and / or data to perform receiving inspection activities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements

  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures

  • Identifies and documents discrepancies

  • Segregates and controls nonconforming items to prevent unintended use or delivery

  • Verifies compliance to customer requirements

  • Identifies opportunities for corrective action while performing product or process verification

Mid-Level (Level C):

  • Verifies product conformance to design requirements.

  • Provides objective evidence of results.

  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.

  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High School / GED Diploma is required

  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level C : 3 or more years of related work experience or a combination of education and work experience

  • Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • Experience using computer-based software applications typically used to support receiving inspection activities

Typical Education & Experience:

Level B:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Level C:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for associate level (Level B) USD 46,750– 63,250

Summary pay range for mid-level (Level C) USD 53,550– 72,450
