Assists citizens at the transfer station with the safe off-loading of transfer station material and debris.

Performs general maintenance of grounds and facilities at District owned property.

Safely operates backhoe and other mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities.

Performs cleaning at transfer station locations.

Maintains, repairs, keeps order of cans, bins, and other collection containers.

Delivers, picks up, and repairs residential cans, keeps accurate records of repairs and can distribution for the District.

Performs duties with due regard for personal safety, that of other employees and the public. 

Assigned as backup scale attendant ensuring proper admittance of all vehicles entering facilities.

Operates computerized scales to weigh and access disposal fees for commercial and residential vehicles.

Maintains accurate records to include disposal fees, tonnage, types of materials, types of waste, and associated information.

Accurately accounts for all payments collected; prepares daily reports and deposits.  Follows established procedures on site cash handling procedures.
