The Associate Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.

This position is part of the Distribution Center located in Hebron, KY and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Distribution Center and report to the Supervisor responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Receives and stores product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ships orders. Inspect materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates and product part number

  • Creates and/or ensures appropriate documentation is completed for orders. Reconciles inventory and may perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned

  • May involve operation of powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, and/or reach trucks. Identifies and solves routine problems in work area with management team. Assist management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Lift up to 50 lbs, multiple times during an 8-hour shift

  • Forklift (reach truck/cherry picker) is required and have the ability to cross train and work in multiple areas of the facility as needed

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Computer experience using Oracle and Microsoft applications and have experience working on high-performing teams in fast-paced environments

    Benefits:

    The starting pay range is $18.00-$23.05 an hour. Base can increase dependent upon the following:

  • Differential pay for forklift drivers (reach truck/cherry picker)

  • Increased pay for working in the refrigerated area

  • Dynamic pay increases as you grow into each of our four additional levels of warehouse associates.

    In addition to these extras, you will receive our comprehensive benefits package starting on the first day of employment that includes:

  • Opportunity to receive up to a 5% annual bonus based on total wages

  • Up to 5% vested on 401K contributions
