Description
Key Responsibilities
Work with CAD systems to create, modify, and release drawings for use by other departments and customers
Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure drawings convey correct information
Load programming in machines on the floor and troubleshoot where needed
Self-check work for completeness, accuracy, meeting standards, fits, nestings, and stack-ups
May be responsible for some design elements
Work from various sources including drawings, sketches, scanned images, customer drawings, or government specifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Minimum of 5 years CAD/CAM experience
Excellent Microsoft Suite computer skills
Thorough knowledge of CAD/CAM technology
Basic math ability and blueprint reading skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related technical field
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Familiarity with Solid Edge software

Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
Indoor office environment, not exposed to weather conditions
Moderate noise levels
Frequent use of computer and CAD/CAM software
May involve occasional visits to the manufacturing floor
