Position Overview

The Information Security Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our cybersecurity infrastructure while providing essential IT support. This position combines hands-on technical work with strategic security initiatives, helping to protect our organization's digital assets while fostering a culture of security awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance efforts with various cybersecurity frameworks, including audit preparation and documentation management

  • Develop and conduct security awareness training programs to strengthen organizational security culture

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and corporate office to implement and maintain security initiatives

  • Participate actively in security council meetings to advance cybersecurity objectives

  • Provide on-site help desk support for the Hebron office, including Outlook/SharePoint troubleshooting and laptop setup

  • Manage IT inventory and coordinate with IS Manager for procurement needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or related field

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

  • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently

  • Willingness to learn cybersecurity systems and protocols

  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in IT support or cybersecurity

  • Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, or Cisco Meraki Systems
