What is this career opportunity? * // /Do you want to be involved with the management and design architecture for the State’s Enterprise Network Layer 4/Layer 7 Firewalls, VPN’s and Network Security Appliances? Do you want to design, plan and lead the implementation of emerging network security technologies from the ground up? You may be the person we are looking for!/ You would perform activities to design, architect, and manage the network layer 4/layer 7 firewall and network security appliance infrastructure for the State’s Enterprise SUMMITNET Network. In addition, you would lead the configuration, management, and review of the security policies for the State’s enterprise network layer 4/Layer 7 firewalls, VPN’s, and security appliances. You would conduct and assist in Proof-of-Concept tests as well as conduct engineering planning and design sessions with the State’s various networking vendor partners. You would also assist with various network security audits and risk assessments as well as assist with network disaster recovery planning.
