ABOUT THE JOB:
The primary focus of this position is to grow both revenue and utilization within the vertical markets through new business development and an assigned national account customer base, providing storage solutions, expansion within customer's other divisions and new business opportunities. Identification and growth of customer base with national opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Retail, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing or Distribution Industries will be the primary functions of this position. You will also be working in conjunction with Territory Sales teams and Inside Sales Representatives to acquire and grow national account business and ensure customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Recruit, negotiate and sign-on new national accounts, market development and building a strong pipeline of customers/accounts Design and develop pricing strategies Conduct market analysis and planning to identify business opportunities within vertical markets with our customers and prospects Coordinate activities in support of the channel, including account and market launches, communications and key metrics Prepare weekly plans to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients Proactively reach out to new/perspective clients to set-up meetings and presentations Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong financial resu Work in conjunction with National Account Coordinators to grow accounts and in resolving customer service issues Complete necessary reporting, contract documentation and negotiations Build and leverage industry specific value messaging Contract negotiations for renewals for expiring/delinquent contracts and rate increases
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have account management experience, in either: a similar product/services/equipment rental realm, or a specific verticals such as retail, home builders, transportation, or manufacturing Experience presenting to C-Suite executives Proven track record of new account growth and financial acumen Excellent customer service and follow-up Demonstrates effective interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to multi-task with high degree of attention to detail Up to 40-50% overnight travel Disclaimer: This posting describes the general nature and level of work performed and does not represent an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
