Kanaan Communications, LLC Estimating Analyst in Henderson, Kentucky
Our Estimating Analyst shall collaborate with clients, vendors and internal company departments to formulate estimates and resolve problems. They will confer with all relevant parties on changes and adjustments to cost estimates as well as collect historical data for future cost estimating. This position will be responsible for preparing estimates by identifying labor, material, and time requirements. At a minimum, this position requires a good working knowledge of accounting/business practices, ability to use a computer (Microsoft Excel), and an understanding of how to analyze data.
Responsibilities:
Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction team to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products
Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Identify, quantify, and communicate potential production and cost uncertainties to ensure all risks are understood and addressed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of estimation processes and construction/telecommunication principles.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic estimation software.
