Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $16 / hour This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What you'll be doing as an Assembly Worker:

• Required parts are available & taken from conveyor in the sequence the unit is to be assembled

• Assemble wooden panels to create requested product using a rubber mallet and screw guns

• Use cam locks and pin screws allowing assembly without glue

• Understand and utilize the pull system

• Maintain 5S

• Visual inspection of each component to ensure quality

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures

• Any other duties as assigned by supervision or management

Job requirements:

• Knowledge of screw guns and rubber mallets

• Knowledge of safety procedures

• Knowledge of quality standards

• High School Diploma/GED preferred

• Previous furniture assembly preferred

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to work closely with others

• Ability to use pneumatic screw guns and rubber mallet repetitively

• Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 100 lbs. with assistance

• Good Dexterity

• Endure extreme heat in summer (potentially while having to work 10-12 hour days)

• Ability to stand on concrete floor while bending, lifting, and/or using repetitive motion of arms and hands

• Ability to lift, move and handle up to 100 lbs. with assistance
