THE ROLE:
Our global shipping and logistics manager is responsible for the global supply chain management of our Racing and Festival event apparel operations divisions, ensuring that goods and materials are moved, monitored, and managed. They oversee a variety of operations, including; transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, import and export processes, purchasing, production planning, and customer service. This global logistics manager is a supply chain expert who use their skills to coordinate essential operations in our business. They are excellent negotiators, organizers, and problem-solvers play a meaningful role within the event family.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and periodic business reviews
Lead cross-functional teams to manage project timelines including developing and maintaining action trackers, Gantt charts, and other program management tools related to on-time delivery of supplier products against event timing
Communicate key supply, cost, and/or quality issues with management teams as well as develop corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks
Planning transportation and distribution routes
Working with customs and freight forwarders to properly document and move freight to 22 countries
Import and Export Process Creation and Optimization
Directing fleets
Analyzing freight budgets and billing
Processing in-bound and outbound shipments
Supervising warehouse functions
Creating optimal receipt, dispatching, and storage procedures
Tracking and tracing orders
Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
Managing transportation documentation
Managing orders
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
5+ years’ experience in global logistics management
Strong knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
Proven ability to optimize logistics and/or supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and lead a team
Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing data to drive operational improvements
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proficient in logistics software and IT systems
Experience in analyzing data to drive operational improvements
Proven ability to problem solve and communicate in a professional manner
Sterling reputation for excellence in the required role with at least five top notch references
Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
May work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD
