Government Renewal/Sales Support Specialist | On-Site | Herndon | Direct Placement
Aston Carter is hiring an entry-level Renewal Specialist/Inside Sales Support Specialist for an IT Government Contractor.
PLEASE NOTE - this is an entry-level role consisting of full benefits, a base salary, and commission.
The Renewal Specialist serves as the first point of contact for IT Government Clients. They are responsible for:
Saturating existing accounts and identifying new accounts to partner with
Developing proposals and responding to RFQs/RFPs, ensuring contracts have appropriate focus, achievable goals, and sufficient resource requirements.
Negotiating prices and terms, recommending actions based on competitor data.
Documenting customer feedback, resulting in clear, written guidance for how products protect and achieve the customer's mission
Closing renewal licensing deals
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-3 years of IT sales experience, ideally in the federal or GovCon industry
Bachelor's Degree
Strong technical writing skills - the ideal candidate has drafted proposals, contracts, warranties, renewals, or similar documents
Driven personality and comfortable with commission
