We are looking for experienced Windows Cloud Systems Engineer to perform a variety of engineering analyses, software, hardware, development, integration, testing, maintenance tasks, and support duties. The team consists of about 20 engineers and are looking for a Windows Systems Engineer to support Azure Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities within the scope of required skills. Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting and Engineering support at the Tier3 and Tier 4 levels for Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations

  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Server 2019 (and higher) technologies

  • Provide troubleshooting and engineering support for Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Provide troubleshooting support involving desktop applications including M365 products and classification management tools

  • Document all new changes introduced to the system and maintain existing documentation

  • Monitor and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments

  • Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Defender including utilization for reporting and patching

  • Support other Tier 3 and Tier 4 personnel with user issues, including application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as needed

  • Create and deliver briefings to customer at various levels

  • Create processes to automate task and configuration items using PowerShell

  • Conduct and review Rapid7 scans

Remote Work: One (1) day a week remote after completion of three (3) months on the project.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

We are looking for Systems Engineer with a minimum of 16 years' relevant experience and a Bachelors' Degree. Candidate must have experience in the following...

  • Significant engineering experience supporting Windows platform environments with the following core MS Windows platforms, services, and tools:

  • Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems

  • Windows 2019 (and higher) server operating systems

  • Active Directory

  • Group Policy

  • DNS, DHCP

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Robust troubleshooting skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
