Prepares and implements assigned curriculum materials for assigned students. Conducts educational assessments. Uses current teaching aids and materials to enrich the classroom experience. Maintains a highly stimulating and rich classroom environment. Maintains an accurate record keeping system in order to evaluate the progress of each individual student. Interacts with parents and personnel from referring school systems or other referral sources. Participates in all aspects of student life including dorm activities, off-campus, and recreational activities. Has the ability to instruct and/or supervise recreational, arts and craft, or other diversionary activities outside the \"home\" classroom assignment.
