JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Center for Advancing Health Equity in Rural and Underserved Communities (CAHE-RUC) is a unique academic and community partnership committed to the comprehensive evaluation and implementation of evidence-based, community-level strategies to improve health outcomes for rural and underserved communities. With locations in Chicago and Hershey CAHE-RUC tackles a variety of complex public health and health system issues that require multi-disciplinary and multi-methodological approaches to achieve outcomes that benefit individuals and whole communities. The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine (and its academic partners, Penn State Health and Milton S. Job Summary: This position will be in the Chicago, IL office. The CAHE-RUC is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven and collaborative Business Operations Analyst who will provide administrative, operational, and information technology support to the Center's teams. Under the supervision of the Associate Center Director, this position plays a key role in ensuring that the day-to-day operation and IT function of the Center runs smoothly and facilitates a broad range of organizational improvement activities. This position involves identifying Center's operational needs, determining solutions to operational problems, streamlining processes, and ensuring that the office environment and IT infrastructure supports the Center's overall efficiency and productivity. By coordinating various operational aspects, from managing office supplies and IT to implementing policies and procedures, this position supports the Center in achieving their overall goals and objectives and long-term organizational development and excellence. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge and skills in office management and information technology.

Responsibilities: Manage daily office operations, ensuring all administrative, operational, and IT functions are performed efficiently and effectively Work with program teams to determine Center's operational and IT needs and identify and analyze solutions to improve operational processes Develop and implement office standard operational policies and procedures to improve operational and IT efficiency Maintain the Center's computer systems including operating systems, cloud-based servers, data management system and devices and perform configuration changes and install and test system software upgrades Develop and provide training to staff members in regard to Center's administrative and operational processes and change management Facilitate internal and external communication by organizing staff meetings, staff engagement events, new staff on-boarding, distributing information, maintaining up-to-date contact lists and managing Center's social medial platforms Maintain and update equipment and supply inven ories Coordinate office space allocation and layout, including managing moves and organizing necessary maintenance and repairs Request quotes and negotiate contracts with vendors and services providers to secure advantageous terms Coordinate purchases for office and program supplies, printing, and shipment Handle and process invoices when requesting payment for services Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies: Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Knowledge of change management Knowledge of computer systems, software, and data management Ability to manage competing priorities, work simultaneously on multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines Creative problem-solver Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Strong organizational and planning skills Detail oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Amazon Web Services; familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, Canva) and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube)

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree 1+ years of relevant experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $61,800.00 - $89,600.00
