Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an IT Desktop Field Technician in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This role is within the IT industry, where you will be working at various remote clinics and hospitals. The position necessitates a strong understanding of computer hardware, basic network troubleshooting, and Cisco technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and replacing workstations at various

• Utilizing knowledge of Windows-based equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Understanding and executing basic commands in Cisco switches

• Traveling between various locations in Reading and Central Pennsylvania for on-site technical support

• Working in collaboration with other team members to ensure effective and efficient operations

• Providing comprehensive support for all workstation-related issues

• Familiarizing oneself with the basics of networking to enhance problem-solving capabilities

• Ensuring the accurate tracking and documentation of all work conducted in the field.

Requirements

• Proficient in Computer Hardware

• Workstation set up

• Windows 10/11

• Imaging PCs

• Skilled in Basic Network Troubleshooting

• Experience with Switches

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies

• Knowledge of PC components, software, and networking

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required

• Previous experience as a PC Technician is preferred
