The Opportunity:

Responsible for supporting the Program or Project Manager in the planning and implementing project tasks. May be directly responsible for the planning and implementation of less complex projects or tasks.

This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in all areas of project delivery.

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and utilizing project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirements. Depending on the complexity of the project, these plans will address items such as requirements analysis and tracking, risk management, configuration management, project staffing, etc.

  • Assist in planning/coordinating customer meetings, support the preparation of appropriate presentations, and compile/distribute meeting minutes as required.

  • Prepare and submit appropriate documentation for customer acceptance of contract deliverables.

  • Create and track purchase orders, as required, to support the procurement and timely delivery of products and services required for each project.

  • Ensure that bills of materials (BOMs) and/or service orders are accurate, approved, placed, and tracked to ensure timely delivery in support of project schedules.

  • Collaborate with the project team members (including internal staff, vendors, and subcontractors) to ensure milestones are met on assigned projects.

  • Responsible for creating project folders on the Teams SharePoint for each program/project and uploading all project documentation to those SharePoint project folders.

  • Procured holder to purchase miscellaneous products and services, coordinate P-Card purchases, Generate P-Card vouchers as required, and Manage and Order common office supplies.

  • Travel to other Locations or Customer Sites as necessary.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.

  • Consistent and reliable attendance required during normal office hours, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

  • 2+ years’ experience planning and supporting telecommunications network projects of similar scope and complexity.

  • Customer interface experience

  • Experience with supporting matrix teams working in multiple locations simultaneously.

  • Proficient general user capabilities of Microsoft software applications required, primarily Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Desired:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; an Associate degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.

  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$49,700 - $101,800
