We are currently hiring for an Assistant Director of Facility Operations who will plan, provide, and maintain a quality community with respect to the interior and exterior of the buildings, roads, grounds, tools, and equipment to achieve a safe, sanitary, and healthy living/working environment for residents and staff, and to provide residents with quality transportation, security, communication, and facility services. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Facility Operations who has aspirations of obtaining a Director of Facility Operations role within the Erickson Senior Living enterprise and may need to relocate after a couple of years as opportunities become available with the opening of new communities.

How you will impact our mission and growth:
Ensure the community and department goals in the areas of finance, satisfaction, and engagement are met by using the system, process, and control measures.
Management of the departments included in the scope of the job are Transportation, Security, Project management, Maintenance & Engineering, Communications, Housekeeping, and Grounds.
Respond to emergencies at the community as required.
Fill in for the Director of Facility Operations in their absence.
Implement system and controls to achieve financial performance as established by the departmental budget. Assist in the budget process for both operating and capital plans.
Ensure that requests for the purchase of assets and services are made and in accordance with Erickson Senior Living Communities Purchasing policies, procedures, and processes.
Ensure all the required training by managers is completed and documented.

Compensation: $100k-125k/yr (depending on years of experience)

What you will need:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
5 years or more of business experience in General Services / Facilities Operations required.
Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities
Experience with CMMS is preferred.
Licensing/certification to be obtained if required by State.
A valid driver’s license is required if operating Community vehicles and must adhere to policies and procedures of Erickson Senior Living Management.
Minimum 10 Hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire.
