Customer Service / Sales Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative / Sales Representative to become a part of our team in the Credit Union industry located in HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships, promoting loans and products, and assisting with consumer loans applications. Responsibilities

• Handle outbound calls to promote loans and products, and establish customer relationships.

• Participate in events and partnerships to expand customer base and foster relationships.

• Analyze credit statements and gain proficiency in understanding consumer loans.

• Assist customers with various types of loans including home equity loans and application loans.

• Conduct detailed calculations of debt to income ratio.

• Utilize business analytics to follow up on leads and uncover additional customer information.

• Apply your sales skills to upsell and uncover customer needs.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for data and order entry and to schedule appointments.

• Respond to customer inquiries via email correspondence.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a financial institution

• Proven skills in answering inbound calls, handling customer inquiries, and providing excellent customer service

• Experience in a call center environment, managing both inbound and outbound calls

• Proficiency in data entry and order entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and effectively

• Excellent scheduling abilities, with experience in setting appointments for customers or team members

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word, demonstrating the ability to use these tools for various tasks

• Prior experience in outbound sales, showing the ability to convert calls into sales opportunities

• A track record in sales and sales activity, indicating a strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets
