Description

We are in search of a meticulous 3rd Shift Warehouse Lead to join our client's team located in the Hightstown, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing inbound and outbound logistics operations, managing inventory, and ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination of warehouse tasks and resources, ensuring goods are selected, packaged, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

• Supervise warehouse operations in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

• Manage warehouse space, including reception, pathway, sampling, dispensing, and shipment to ensure an efficient supply of goods.

• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records according to established procedures.

• Collaborate in the investigation of events and propose corrective actions/preventive actions for deviations.

• Assist in training warehouse teams, supporting in the organization of training schedules and ensuring attendance.

• Monitor and promote productivity and safety in warehouse activities by scheduling tasks of operators daily.

• Supervise the team members assigned to your area of responsibility and distribute work tasks.

• Ensure compliance with all internal and external guidelines, promoting the implementation and maintenance of company policies, systems, and procedures.

• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems, such as SAP, to streamline warehouse processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Warehouse Management and Warehouse Distribution

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with SAP

• Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Ability to work in the 3rd shift schedule

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy items when required

• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively

• Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a warehouse setting

• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time

• Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Familiarity with inventory management software

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
