BAE Systems Mk21A Execution Program Manager in Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a well-qualified professional to join our team in support of Program Acquisition for the Mk21A Reentry Vehicle Development Program as required by the warfighter, Air Force Global Strike Command. This position will provide integration and execution oversight, process improvement, risk management, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface across the Sentinel program and assist the government in planning and development activities for this large acquisition program. Job location will be at Hill AFB, Utah.

The successful candidate has demonstrated experience with strong leadership in program management, technical management as well as ethics, safety and security.

Responsibilities include assisting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Sentinel Directorate Mk21A Materiel Leader and ISC program manager in coordinating projects and their associated requirements detailed in Department of Energy (DoE) and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements, directives and instructions. The Program Manager is responsible for tasks and is accountable to the government for the technical quality, content, and results of all projects.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years professional experience.

  • An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or higher, and the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

  • Proven experience supporting cross-department communications and collaboration.

  • Self-directed; works independently, familiar with Air Force and Government processes.

  • Well organized; drives task to closure.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Prefer current Sentinel program experience and facility access.

  • DoD 5000 ACAT experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
