Why SENTINEL? The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex Mega-Project modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. Without any doubt, Sentinel is one of the DoD s most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. Tell me about this job.BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support Sentinel s External Affairs team as the Sentinel Acquisition Reporting Program Manager. The candidate will, on behalf of the government customer, lead and execute all aspects of acquisition reporting, from submission coordination and report drafting, to finalization and submission to Senior Air Force leadership. The candidate will also monitor progress and work across functions and organizations to meet Senior Program Manager and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Program Executive Officer intent. Candidate will operate in an organizational culture that develops and challenges employees to achieve high performance in a fast-paced, high-morale workplace using streamlined management policies and procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 10 years relevant experience; 8 years with Master's degree.

  • Experience on an ACAT I program or similar.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Strong communication skills; experience conducting senior level meetings and briefings.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • ICBM weapon system/program support experience.

  • Strategic thinking skills.

  • Experience developing Dod acquisition program reports (Program Executive Officer Activity Report, Management Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary, and Modernized Selected Acquisition Report).

  • Project Management Professional certification.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100530 - $170910

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
