Lockheed Martin Administrative Support Specialist in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Description: LM Space is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support LM’s Strategic Reentry’s (SR) Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Site! They will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the HAFB Site Lead and SR Programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining calendars, arranging meetings, making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, tracking and reporting requirements and status reports, interfacing with internal and external customers, greeting visitors and connecting them with the correct personnel, coordinating with facilities and janitorial staff, setting up conference calls, receiving/picking up deliveries, taking notes, ordering & managing supplies, facilitating business meeting meals/refreshments, planning events and holiday parties, scanning documents, etc. The ideal candidate multi-tasks and prioritizes effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. They demonstrate initiative, discretion, tact, and good judgment in managing email, telephone calls and other requests. The selected candidate will ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete, and properly handled. Utilizes standard desk top software (full complement of Microsoft Office Suite) to access Lockheed Martin systems, compose correspondence and create spreadsheets and presentation charts. They will also maintain Outlook calendars to ensure efficiency and maximum use of leader's time. Pursues opportunities to change or lean out processes and approaches. Other duties as directed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience communicating in all mediums (phone, email, text, etc.) with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and customers.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), and internet research skills.

• Coordination of complex travel arrangements and reconciliation of expense reports.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Ability to learn new systems

• Project management skills and project coordination experience sufficient to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision.

• Ability to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.

Desired Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an administrative assistant

• Work Experience with Lockheed Martin

• Degree from an accredited college

• Self-Motivated and willing to help.

• Ability to work with wide range of diverse military and civilian customers

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
