Spectrum Comm Inc Journeyman Operations Analyst in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Spectrum is seeking highly qualified individuals with to assist with development and management of Test Plans, Test Trials, Reports and developing/processing supporting documentation. Activity will include developing test plan and data analysis plan inputs, developing data analysis tools and methodologies, managing test data, creating products from test data to achieve test objectives, and provide written test report inputs that augment the generated technical products.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide expertise in aircraft flight data analysis techniques and software tool development. Involved in developing and managing Test Plans, Test Trials, and Test Reports.

Participate in data analysis; assist Mission Systems Engineer to develop appropriate analysis methodologies and analysis products to fuel test planning and reporting efforts.

Participate in mission execution and data collection efforts

Requirements

Experience – Number of years

Minimum 3 years practical knowledge of military aircraft systems and related fields such as flight controls, avionics and other electrical subsystems, low observables systems design, manufacturing, and maintenance, propulsion systems, aircrew and human machine interfaces, radar fundamentals and advanced electromagnetics theory, combat mission planning and weapons employment, and adversary threat capabilities. Expertise with computer coding (scripting languages such as MATLAB, C variants, Python, etc.) or professional training in electronic warfare, electromagnetics, RCS reduction. Expertise with Design of Experiments concepts and statistical principles.

Minimum Education Requirement

Position requires minimum Bachelors’ Degree in Mathematics or similar technical field (operations research, computer science, statistics, etc.).

Certifications

USAF or USN Test Pilot School graduate or AFIT Test and Evaluation Certificate may substitute for up to 2 years’ experience.

Minimum Security Clearance

Current Secret clearance must be eligible for TS SCI and SAP access.
