Purpose Statement

Shift: Monday thru Friday 10 pm to 6 am

A Processing Technician is required to operate a Dough Table and/or a Donut King, ingredient mixing equipment, filling equipment, proofing and frying equipment, and provide break relief to other members of the "Team." Also participates as a member of a "Self-Directed Team" to accomplish shared goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Operation of the equipment includes:

• Performing/completing process controls, control charts, pre-operation inspections, and light preventative maintenance, at the specified frequency.
• Also keeping the equipment and general work area well organized and at a high level of cleanliness on a continuous basis.

Communications Link

• Must be able to communicate effectively in group or team environment about safety, production information, problems, process improvement ideas, and general topics.
• Communicate product attributes, test data/results to the appropriate associates.
• Communicate uncontrolled variations in the process.
• Communicate with visiting internal/external customers regarding the process.

Product Quality

• Perform product attribute/variable testing at the required frequencies.
• Complete Process Controls at the required frequencies.
• Investigate and take corrective actions when the process is out of control.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

High School graduate or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, graphs and charts, and procedure manuals. Ability to write route reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in group settings.
