Alternatives to Violence Center Court and Family Advocate in Hillsboro, Ohio
Qualifications: 4-Year Degree, LSW or Working Toward
Reports To: Office Supervisor and Director
Hours: Full-Time
Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibility

Position Description:
Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Attend court as necessary. Travel will be required, possibly daily
- Maintain client documentation which includes intake, follow-up, direct service, housing, client assessment or any other documentation required
- Serve as an information and referral source
- Provide court/medical advocacy and supportive service to victims as needed
- Attend selected state and district meetings, workshops, training sessions and staff meetings
- Provide transportation to safe houses, social agencies, court or other places as needed
- May be responsible for leading Support Groups, Parenting Classes
- Provide Outreach
- Provide Trauma-Informed Care
- Follow Program Fidelity, and utilize programs as developed
- Other duties as assigned by the Director
On call
Additional requirements:
- The Director may request that the Court/Family Advocate receive additional training, education or job related skills
Ability to maintain a strict code of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
