Loan Accounting/Servicing Specialist -- Hillsboro, Ohio

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely booking of Commercial, Real Estate, and Simple Interest loans, ensuring that loans are entered into the servicing system with minimal errors. The role involves performing post-closing functions for all loan types and handling loan maintenance requests submitted to the department. The ideal candidate will also be expected to provide high-quality customer service to MNB's valued customers, addressing inquiries, conducting follow-up, and researching any issues that arise.

[Primary Duties and Responsibilities:]{.underline}

Book Commercial, Real Estate, and Simple Interest loans, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the servicing system. Perform post-closing functions for all loan types. Handle loan maintenance requests and ensure they are processed efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries, performing follow-up, and researching loan-related issues. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in all loan servicing activities. Maintain knowledge of loan products, processes, and regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with Quality Control to minimize errors and ensure loan servicing standards are met.

3-5 years of experience in loan operations or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to loan operations.
