Insight Global Field Service Engineer (Level 3/4) in Hillsboro, Oregon

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Level 3 Field Service Engineer to join their team in Hillsboro, OR to work a compressed night-shift schedule and perform daily maintenance on semiconductor capital equipment at a industry leading supplier. The candidate will be responsible for sustaining the performance, collaborating with other engineers, addressing client needs, and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues that arise on machines.

This position is ideal for someone who is a self driver, looking for a long-term contract opportunity where you will gain experience on industry-leading technology. Day to Day:

  • Utilize Kepner-Tregoe Troubleshooting techniques on manufacturing machines

  • Working with a safety first mindset in all projects and escalations

  • Decommissioning and Sustaining capital equipment at the client site

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with hands-on troubleshooting on either photolithography tools, etch tools, or other semiconductor equipment

  • Bachelor's in engineering field or STEM related field (electrical and mechanical engineering, preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interact with clients and internal teams - 1+ years of experience with Kepner-Tregoe Troubleshooting Techniques

  • 1+ years of experience working on chemical systems null
