Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

Candidates in this role will be working in a chemline and parts cleaning environment. On a daily basis, they will be receiving the parts from semiconductor companies that arrive in big crates. After the receiving team organizes the parts, they will go to the chemline area for processing and disassembly. The role involves working with chemical baths and using basic hand tools to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble parts. The majority of the parts are metal abatement systems from cleanroom subfabs. Responsibilities include using tools to clean off chlorine and fluorine salts that build up on these pieces when used for wafer manufacturing.

Hard Skills

  • Handling chemicals (following all safety guidelines to ensure there is no direct exposure)

  • Wearing all necessary PPE (safety shoes, gloves, smock, gown, and face shield when required)

  • Mechanical aptitude with basic hand tools

  • Visual inspection of parts

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Safety minded

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Work Environment

It is a temperature-controlled environment and all the chemical processing rooms require the wearing of a full bunny suit.
