Responsibilities: Main job function is Logistics Chemical Handler (Business Title- Material Handler) Ability to work in a fast pace and physically challenging work environment moving chemicals from dock to stock with strong attention to detail using FEFO i.e. 55 gal drums with use of mechanical drum lifter, 4 x 1gal boxes of chemicals, and 5 gal pails Submit daily order to chemical 3PL for next day delivery Check delivery packing list line by line to ensure correct material has been delivered Strong and prompt communication throughout each work day while monitoring emails between logistics chemical handling and chemical 3PL Perfom daily cycle counts on chemical inventory Will never have to open chemicals & #8203;& #8203;& #8203;& #8203;& #8203;& #8203;& #8203;Other Duties Performs physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items Packages and prepares products and merchandise for shipment Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped Reviews customer orders, examines stock and distributes merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review Develops and executes replenishment strategies; conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts Analyzes and corrects cycle count discrepancies Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required 1+ years warehouse/inventory control experience preferred Must be able to multi-task and skillfully prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment Must have strong computer skills and be able to quickly learn or use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Have some experience working with SAP or other computer-based warehouse / inventory management system. (Any experience with SAP software is a huge plus, but not required) Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate a motor vehicle Must work well with others and be part of a team Must be able to lift 50 pounds Previous warehouse shipping experience is a plus Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have strong integrity Be willing to work overtime with short notice if a situation arises requiring it.
