Adecco US, Inc. Senior Assembly Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Hillsboro. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our success by conducting assembly, testing, and troubleshooting complex components within a low-volume, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role offers competitive compensation ( $24.20/hour ) with the potential to convert to a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM (OT Possible)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent not required

  • 3+ year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience

  • Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes preferred

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement a plus

  • Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus

  • Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Description:

  • Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components.

  • Complete assembly work using various hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.

  • Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process

  • Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions

  • Perform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues

  • Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance

  • Follow audit and safety guidelines

  • Participate in continuous process improvement.

Pay Details: $24.20 per hour
