TIG Welder & Fabricator

Job Description

This role encompasses both heavy mechanical repairs and metal fabrication to refurbish and repair emergency vehicles. The fabrication side of this role is great for someone looking to build/create new things every day as no jobs are ever exactly the same. Heavy demand and large company growth is on the horizon! Pay rate listed may be flexible out of the range based on relevant experience.

Hard Skills

• Metal Fabrication

• TIG Welding

• Mechanical troubleshooting of large machinery

• Repair or replace damaged bearings, shafts, motors, pumps, and engines

• Use of scrap or sheets of new metal to refurbish parts

• Blueprint reading

• Use of shop machinery including shears, presses, benders, rollers, welders, and torches

Soft Skills

• Ability to meet customer deadlines

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.
