Job Overview

The Sales Coordinator will work with and support the Foodservice Associate Account Managers with daily tasks and responsibilities. The Coordinator will assist with the project details and daily task within GLC’s departments: Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, QA, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Associate Account Manager team in the development of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.

• Assist in the development of presentations, spreadsheets, managing time lines and internal and external communications concerning developing new items, expanding product lines and launching new solutions.

• Assist with Foodservice projects and working with internal cross functional departments

• Participate and keep detailed notes in strategy and planning meetings.

• Assist in analyzing aging product

• Submit sample requests when needed

• Assist with customer visit planning

• Assist with bid opportunities and document preparation

• Submit monthly pricing in customer portals

• Process monthly non-commercial rebates

• Other as needed responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Required Education and Experience

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year project coordination experience.

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related field.

• Cheese, dairy or food experience.

• Strong sense of professionalism and discretion

• Exceptional organization/prioritization skills.

• Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (listening, written and phone skills).

• Excellent planning and follow-up skills.

Working Conditions

• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.

• Work is performed in an office setting.
